Dr. Tim R. McMullen received his Bachelor of General Studies in biochemistry from the University of Kansas and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1997.
He has completed postdoctoral studies leading to certification in Advanced Cervical Acceleration/Deceleration Treatment and Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, Scoliosis Management and Treatment from Logan College of Chiropractic, and certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians.
He utilizes Palmer Diversified, Activator, Sacro-occipital, Gonstad, and Thompson techniques. He incorporates exercise, nutrition, and kinesio-taping, as well as a variety of adjunctive therapies, in addition to spinal manipulation and rehabilitation.
Our staff is friendly, efficient, and always trying to make scheduling and treatment in our office beneficial for each patient. Our staff has received the Five-Star Award for outstanding distinguished chiropractic service. Sarah, our front deck chiropractic assistant has been with us 11 years. Ami, our back office, x-ray, and therapy assistant has been on our team 6 years. Jeanie, our insurance and billing coordinator joined the team 2 years ago. Jan, our office manager, has been with McMullen Chiropractic Center since its beginning in 1971.
Our staff is cross-trained and well informed in all aspects of chiropractic philosophy and treatment. We will be able to answer your questions and concerns and, if not, will know where to locate the answers. We are also competent in filing any paperwork necessary for reimbursement by third-party payors. We are “in network providers” for most insurance carriers and will do all follow through necessary to get your claims paid. We are HIPAA compliant.

Our Story
Dr. Richard A. McMullen established McMullen Chiropractic Center in 1971. His son, Dr. Tim McMullen joined the practice in 1997 and they were able to practice together for 6 years before his dad passed away in 2004. Our practice is family-owned and run by a talented group of highly trained, dedicated staff who will treat you like family. We are a complete family practice-from infants to the elderly. We also emphasize treatment of sports injuries.
Dr. Tim McMullen and the staff of McMullen Chiropractic Center provide efficient chiropractic care to restore health in a calm, orderly, and relaxing environment. It is our goal to educate, provide spinal correction, and rehabilitate as many patients as physically possible within the scope of principled chiropractic care.
